Robert was born May 29, 1946 in Grand Forks, ND to Jameson Larimore, Jr. and Alice (Ball) Larimore. He graduated from Larimore High School and the University of North Dakota. On June 28, 1966 he was married to Pamela Nelson in West Fargo, ND.
Bob managed Elk Valley Potatoes in Larimore for 5 years. He started keeping bees in 1976 which he continued to do in partnership with his son, Nathan, until his death.
Bob got great enjoyment from hunting and fishing. He made fishing trips to the Amazon of Brazil, Costa Rico, Guatemala, Mexico, the Yukon and the Snake River. His hunting included a trip to Alaska for caribou. He enjoyed watching wildlife, especially at his hunting cabin near Killdeer, ND. Bob was always ready for a card game—especially bridge.
Bob was a member of Larimore United Methodist Church, North Star Lodge #16 and Kem Shrine.
Bob is survived by his wife Pam, daughter Sarah (Ted) Pietron, son Nathan, grandchildren: Blake Pietron, Brett (Heather) Pietron, Elise Pietron, sister Mary Alice (Alan) James, sister-in-law Marilyn Larimore and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jameson and Alice Larimore, brother Jameson Larimore, III and sister Sally Marshall.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the donor's choice.
FUNERAL SERVICES: 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 30 at the United Methodist Church in Larimore.
VISITATION: Thursday, August 29 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. prayer service followed by a Masonic Ritual at the Bakke Funeral Home in Larimore.
INTERMENT: Bellevue Cemetery, Larimore, ND.
