Mary Maxine Cook, 74, of Fairmount, died on Friday, June 29, 2007 at Colonial Oaks Healthcare Center in Marion. She was born in Decatur on Sept. 8, 1932, the daughter of Edward and Ozema Luctria (Drake) Isch. She was a member of the Brookhaven Wesleyan Church. She was married on April 12, 1953 to John R. Cook, who survives.
She is also survived by her daughters, Linda (Jim) Martin of Rossville, Kathy (Tim) Carter of Russville, a son John (Cathy) E. Cook of Wabash, her sisters, Pati (Tom) Jackson of Syracuse, Jeannie (Dick) Norris of Clearwater, Fla., Pauline (Don) Haines of Bluffton, a sister-in-law Carol Isch of Kalamazoo, Mich., her brothers, Tom (Peggy) Isch of Waynedale, Paul (Anita) Isch of Dublin, Ind., along with six grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Dick and Jim Isch and a granddaughter, Natalie Rose Carter.
Calling is today from 3-8 p.m. at the Armes-Hunt Funeral Home in Fairmount. Services are at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday at Brookhaven Wesleyan Church, with Rev. Robert Van Cise officiating. Burial will be in Park Cemetery, Fairmount.
Memorials may be made to the Brookhaven Wesleyan Church Building Fund or to the New Hope Hospice.
