Paul A. Isch age 72, 8968 West Division Road Dunkirk passed away Saturday in the Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne. He was born in Portland August 3, 1942 the son of Edward and Ozema (Drake) Isch. He was married June 25, 1965 to Anita Lucile Hesher who survives. He was pastor of the Gilead Church and had been a pastor in church's in Flemingsburg, Kentucky, Blountsville, IN., Dunkirk, IN., Liberty, IN. and Dublin, IN. He was president of Jay County Ministerial Association, Itinerant Elder of the East Central Conference of the Evangelical Church, Jay County Hospital chaplain, Poling High School graduate and Asbury College graduate..
Surviving are his wife Anita, two sons Timothy Isch (wife Ann) of Fort Wayne and Andrew Isch (wife Kristen) of Greenfield, two daughters Amy Jordon (husband Michael) of McCordsville, IN. and Regina Harris (husband Kelse) of North Manchester, two sisters Jeanie Norris (husband Dick) of Clearwater, FL. And Pauline Haines (husband Don) of Bluffton, Seven grandchildren
Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday in the Faith Evangelical Church 9560 West 200 South Dunkirk with Andrew Isch and Rev. Harold Miller presiding. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery in Pennville. Visitation will be Wednesday from 1:00 – 8:00 P.M. and Thursday from 9:00 A.M. - 10:00 A.M. at the Faith Evangelical Church. Memorials can be made to Gideon's International or Jay County Cancer Society. Baird-Freeman Funeral Home in Portland, Indiana are in charge of arrangements.
