While Grace's talent was music and sewing, she also was part owner of the Frankfort Morning Times, that was established by her late husband Raymond Finley Fowler's father, George Young Fowler.
Grace and Raymond were the parents of two children, Robert Leroy and Marjorie Ann, who were born sixteen years apart. Both children inherited their mothers talent for music.
When Grace was widowed at the age of forty-three, she continued to help run the newspaper, as well as raise six year old Marjorie. She remarried five years later to Frank Crebs.
