Henry, Anna and Samuel Pletcher Jr. were all buried on their farm which, in 1904, was a part of the Butler farm near Howard, in Centre County. In the fall of 1904, the graves were moved to the Schenck Cemetery. In 1967 the Shenck Cemetery was relocated during the construction of Sayers Dam. The graves originally had home-made markers of native mountain stone. In 1911 descendants of Henry Pletcher raised money to place a monument on his grave. Since that time, a newer monument dedicated to Henry, Samuel, Anna, Daniel and Jonathan Pletcher has been erected at the cemetery.
