Arthur Charles Barclay, Sr. was born August 18, 1939 in San Antonio, TX to Arthur G. and Gladys Barclay. He attended Calhoun County High School and graduated in 1957. Soon after, he joined the United States Army in 1960. During his tour Msgt Barclay attended Texas A&M University and graduated class of '61. MSgt Barclay served two tours in Vietnam and proudly served 20 years of military service. In 1980 MSgt Barclay retired from the military and continued to serve his country as a civil servant. MSgt Barclay retired from Civil Service in 2000. MSgt Barclay was an avid skier in his early days. He was a HUGE fan of Aggie football and loved spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren host of cousins and friends.
