She was a etired housekeeper from Lawrenceburg Manor Nursing Home and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Varner; daughters, Deborah Jean Varner and Melissa Joyce Varner; parents, James Henry and Lora Bell Haygood Lovelace.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Wednesday, August 14, 2019. Interment will follow at Emmaline Stutts Cemetery in Lauderdale County, AL.
