ALBERT A. HOEPPNER

Albert A. Hoeppner, age 77, of 932 S. 20th Street, Manitowoc, died Friday evening, March 21, 2003, at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc. Officiating at the service will be Deacon Paul Kieffer. Cremation has taken place.

Albert was born Dec. 29, 1925 in Manitowoc, son of the late Fred and Elfreda Rockow Hoeppner. He served his country with the U.S. Army from 1944 to 1945. On Nov. 20, 1948 Albert married the former Marjorie Lang at St. Mary Catholic Church in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on Feb. 1, 2003. Albert was employed with Manitowoc Engineering Co. for over 25 years until his retirement in 1987. He was a member of Whitetail’s Unlimited, Duck’s Unlimited and Eagles F.O.E. Aerie #76.

Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Patricia and Richard Trost, Mishicot, Lynn Nelson, Manitowoc; two sons and one daughter-in-law: Ronald Hoeppner, Manitowoc, Alan and Deb Hoeppner, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers and two sisters-in-law: Max Hoeppner, Manitowoc, Fritz and MaryAnn Hoeppner, Whitelaw, Marion Hoeppner, Manitowoc. Albert is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was also preceded in death by a grandson: Joshua White; a brother, Paul Hoeppner; a sister and a son-in-law; Ricky Nelson.

The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, 2003 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc.

Albert has now joined his wife Marjorie in eternal peace six weeks after her passing. They were loving parents who will be sadly missed by all.
