Marjorie M. Hoeppner, age 71, of 932 S. 20th St., Manitowoc, died Saturday evening, Feb. 1. 2003 at her residence.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 2003 at The Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Officiating at the memorial service will be Deacon Paul Kieffer.

She was born Nov. 10, 1931 in Manitowoc, daughter of the late LeRoy and Alice Gorecki Lang. On Nov. 20, 1948, she married Albert Hoeppner in Manitowoc. Marjorie worked as a waitress at Ponderosa, retiring in 2001. She enjoyed fishing and camping.

Survivors include her husband: Albert Hoeppner, Manitowoc; two daughters and a son-in-law: Patricia and Richard Trost, Mishicot; Lynn Nelson, Manitowoc; two sons and a daughter-in-law: Ronald Hoeppner, Manitowoc; Alan and Deb Hoeppner, Sheboygan; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law: William and Constance Lang, Crandon; and two brothers-in-law: Max Hoeppner, Manitowoc; and Fritz Hoeppner and his wife, Maryann, Whitelaw. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by a grandson: Josh White; and a son-in-law: Rick Nelson.

The family will greet relatives and friends at The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, from 9:30 a.m. Friday until the time of service at 10:30 a.m.
