Albert Rus, age 86, of Lombard, passed away June 11, 2017.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 14 from 3 – 8 PM at Brust Funeral Home, 135 S. Main St, Lombard. Funeral Service will be Thursday, June 15th at 10:30 AM at Brust Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West Cemetery in Oakbrook Terrace.
Mr. Rus is survived by his beloved children, William (Claire) of Arizona and Debra Rus of Lombard; his loving grandchildren, Nina (Bobby) Wilkerson of Texas, Melanie Jenkins of Downers Grove, William Albert Rus of Wheaton, Joseph Michael Rus of Lombard, Edward Rus of Arizona, and Samantha Rus of Arizona; and his dear great-grandchildren, Faith Wilkerson of Texas and Savanna Wilkerson of Texas.
Mr. Rus is preceded in death by his wife, Catherine and his brother, Joseph.
Mr. Rus was born in Chicago and graduated from DePaul University. He was a U.S. Army Veteran during the Korean War. Mr. Rus was an Accountant for United Airlines. He was a member of C.S.A. Fraternal Life.
