Mildred Maw of Calle Del Mar, Stinson Beach, wife of carpenter George E. Maw, died at a local hospital yesterday after a brief illness. She was 48.
Mrs. Maw, a native of Oslo, Norway, had been a housewife for about 20 years. She worked previously as a waitress. She was a daughter of Peter A. Bjelde, a Lutheran missionary.
In addition to her husband, she leaves a sister, Mrs. Roger Williams of Vancouver, WA; and 2 brothers, Trigue Bjelde of Vancouver; and Segurd Bjelde of Ventura, Ventura County.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Harry M. Williams Mortuary, San Rafael. Burial will be at Mt. Tamalpais Cemetery.
