From Ebensberger-Fisher Funeral Home:

Suzanne Baker-Sanford passed away on July 17, 2019, from complications associated with Alzheimer’s disease.

Suzanne was born September 25, 1946, in Houston, Texas, to her parents, Melvin and Billie Malone. She is preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Diane Davis.

She is survived by her husband, George Sanford; sister, Doran Rhoads; brother, David Malone; daughter, Michelle Wright; and granddaughter, Kimberly Holiday. Suzanne was a cherished wife and mother, and will be deeply missed by those loved ones she leaves.

During Suzanne’s thirty plus years of professional life, she served as a Legal Administrator for multiple law firms in Houston and San Antonio. In her free time, Suzanne spent many happy hours producing stained glass and bead jewelry. After relocating to Boerne with her husband in 1997, and later retiring from the legal world, Suzanne developed a passion for horses and participated in both English Hunter Jumper, and Dressage events. In addition to horses, Suzanne and George started an Alpaca farm, buying and raising Alpacas for thirteen years. Suzanne was very crafty and began felting the Alpaca fiber into hats and scarfs. She leaves many friends in the riding and Alpaca worlds.

The family offers a special thanks to all the caregivers with Heart to Heart Hospice and Hill Country Assisted Living for their support and care over a long difficult period in Suzanne’s life. There is a special place in Heaven for those who serve the needs of people like Suzanne. We are forever grateful.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 23, 2019, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Ebensberger Fisher Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Boerne Cemetery.
