He was born July 7, 1932 in Scottville the son of Charles E. and Gladys McCann Woolfolk. He married Rosalie Mae Williams on May 29, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Waverly and she preceded him in death on June 4, 2019.
He is survived by one son, William A. Woolfolk; one daughter, Beth Anne Tieman; 6 grandchildren, Joshua Lambert and Staci, Bradley, William, Steven and Joshua Tieman; two brothers, Ronald (Donna) Woolfolk and Michael (Judy) Woolfolk; 4 sisters, Ramona Wood, Wilma Mansfield, Judith Dugger and Melody Camerer and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Charles M. Woolfolk, Thomas Woolfolk (surviving wife, Darlene) and David Woolfolk and one sister, Sharon Woolfolk.
Mr. Woolfolk retired from Mobil Chemical in Jacksonville. He also assisted his brothers on the family farm for many years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Waverly. He enjoyed rock hunting and looking for arrowheads.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Panther Creek Cemetery near Scottville. Memorials are suggested to Youngblood Baptist Church. Neece-Airsman-Hires Funeral Home in Waverly is in charge of arrangements.
