As part of the closure of the operations of the Trappist monks in Manitoba, the remains of all the monks and other community members buried in the cemetery at their location in Holland, MB, were removed, cremated, and reinterred in a common grave with a marker in the northwest corner of the Saint Norbert Cemetery in the summer of 2023. For some, such as this man, this was a second removal following an earlier transfer in or about 1978 from the order's original location in St Norbert.

With thanks to Murray Braun, who was a temporary guardian of the memorials for the group.
