FALLBROOK – Robert Richard Costello died in Fallbrook Tuesday. He was 74.
Born April 13, 1918, in Detroit, Mich., he was in sales for many years and prior to retirement was co-owner of an industrial hardware distribution company in Pico Rivera. He had lived in California since 1946. He lived on a grapefruit ranch in the DeLuz area of Temecula for 16 years, moving to Fallbrook last year. He served four years in the Navy.
He is survived by his wife, Gwen Costello of Fallbrook; daughters Kim Payne of San Dimas and Kathryn Tobin of Menifee; son Mark Costello of Yorba Linda; brother Sidney Costello of Burbank and eight granddaughters.
Private family services were held with private inurnment at Fallbrook Masonic Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Berry-Bell & Hall Mortuary.
