William Winford Kilgore, 85-year-old retired farmer, died at the home of his stepdaughter, Mrs. Joe W. Chandler, Owens Cross Roads.
Funeral services will be conducted at Bethel Church with interment in the Bethel Cemetery with Laughlin-McCaleb Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Kilgore is survived by six sons: Marion Izzie Kilgore of Marshall County, Silas Edward "Ed" Kilgore of Owens Cross Roads, William Kilgore and Charlie Kilgore of Texas; James Edward "John" Kilgore of Oklahoma and Harry Louis Kilgore; two daughters, Ida (Kilgore) Clark of Owens Cross Roads and Magnolia "Maggie" (Kilgore) Brazelton of Hobbs Island; one stepdaughter, Mary Boyd (Ellis) Chandler; and a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret (Cameron) Kilgore and second wife, Sarah "Sallie" (Bevill) Ellis Kilgore and his parents, Henry Samuel Kilgore and Mary Elizabeth "Mamie" (Wright) Kilgore.
