George H. Bills was born October 14, 1855, and passed away suddenly May 29, 1931, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Susie Farver, in Superior, Nebraska.

He was united in marriage September 10, 1878 (sic), to Adda McAlister, at Madison, Indiana. Mr. and Mrs. Bills moved from Indiana to Nelson, Nebraska, about forty years ago. Mrs. Adda Bills passed away in Nelson, October 17, 1918. After her death, the husband made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Susie Farver, in Nelson, they moving to Superior about a year ago.

Mr. Bills leaves to mourn his departure: one brother, Nathan Bills of Davenport, Nebr.; one daughter, Mrs. Susie Farver, Superior; four grand children and a host of friends.

The remains were brought to Nelson for interment. The funeral service was held at the Methodist church (sic) at one o'clock Sunday afternoon conducted by Rev. W.B. Zimmerman.
