AMARILLO - Former Borger resident Jewel Woodruff, 74, of 4700 S. Virginia, died Tuesday.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Schooler-Gordon Colonial Chapel, with Dr. Winfred Moore, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Llano Cemetery.

Mrs. Woodruff was a member of San Jacinto Rebekah Lodge, Bonita Chapter No. 184 Order of Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Woodruff had lived in Borger for several years before moving to Amarillo. She was past worthy matron of the Borger Order of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Jack Morgan of Zapata; a son, Jerald Dane Barnett of Levelland; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Shelton of Hope, Ark., and Mrs. Clay Carner of Dublin; five brothers, J.A. McGinnis of DeLeon, J.N. McGinnis of Roby, W.S. McGinnis of Dumas; B.H. McGinnis of Hobbs, N.M., and W.J. McGinnis of Odessa; three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
