Wayne McGinnis
Funeral services for Wayne McGinnis, 68, 1201 Northeast Second, were held Tuesday in Morrison Memorial Chapel of Dumas. The Rev. Jerry Clark, pastor, of the Bible Baptist Church of Dumas, officiated.

Interment was in Northlawn Memorial Gardens of Dumas.
Mr. McGinnis died Saturday in Memorial Hospital.

Born March 23, 1925, in Proctor, he had been a resident of Dumas since 1949. Mr. McGinnis was retired from Diamond Shamrock as superintendent of the gas department. He also was a World War II Navy veteran.

Mr. McGinnis was a member of the Bible Baptist church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Connie McGinnis on Aug. 17, 1992

Survivors include one son of Dumas; one daughter of Baton Rouge, La.; two sisters, Twinkle Garner of Dublin and Opal Shelton of Hope, Ark., and one granddaughter.

Morrison Funeral Directors of Dumas was in charge of funeral arrangements.
