Cort Brush, age 66, a long time resident of Long Eddy, died on May 5, 2019 at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY after a long illness.
He was a long time employee of the Villa Roma. He was also a member of the Long Eddy Fire Department and the Hudson Valley Ambulance Corp as an EMT.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Brush, 3 daughters, Tyna Sisler, Cherie Bowers, Clarissa Hall. He has 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Also surviving are 3 sisters Minnie DeVoe, Juanita Livingston, Penny Kearney.
Two sisters-in-law Clare Brush and Sharon Brush, and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Barry and Jim Brush.
A celebration of life will be held at the Long Eddy firehouse on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 2 p.m. All who knew him are welcome to attend.
