Ernest Howard Beito was born December 27, 1937, in Greenbush, MN the son of Lennie and Violet (Keller) Beito. He grew up in the area east of Strathcona, MN. Ernest attended and graduated from Middle River High School in 1955.
On July 28, 1955, he enlisted in the United States Navy and served on the USS Macon. On December 3, 1958, Ernest was Honorably Discharged.
On February 7, 1959, at a dance in Greenbush, MN, Ernest met his future wife, Doris Johnson. The couple married on December 5, 1959, at the Thief Lake Church. They made their home in Hallock, MN and to this union, two sons were born, Howard and Kevin.
Ernest started working for Tenneco Gas Transmission Company in 1960 and worked at the company for 33 years, retiring in 1993.
The couple relocated to Motley, MN and spent their retirement years traveling, visiting family, fishing, hunting and enjoying his grandchildren.
Survivors include his loving wife, Doris; sons, Howard (Michelle) Beito and Kevin (Lisa) Beito; grandchildren, ToniRae, Kara, Chelsey, Nicole and Luke; great-grandchildren, Paxson and Axel; siblings, Caroline Majer, Harold (Sandy) Beito, Kean (Lori) Beito and Eugene Beito; and many other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Donald and Lewis.
