The gentleman to the right was a dear friend of my parents, Michael J. "Googie" Murray, & Mary A. Cuddy - Murray of 144th St., Bronx, NY.
There are two names posted on the bill board. Unclear as to correct name of person in photo.
The back of photo reads:
"Still Alive" Aug. 25, 1941,
I hope so in 4 or 3 more yrs."
Also stated on back of photo:
Killed, 1945 at Okinawa.
Photo was taken Aug. 25, 1941
