Rosalie was born July 23, 1928 to Paul Ardelan (formerly Paval Argylan) and Flora (Anderko) Ardelan. She was one of ten children, whose parents had imigrated from Romania to the United States. She joined the United States Navy, and while in Corpus Christi, TX, met Dean Rohrer, her future husband. They married August 2, 1952, and had two children together, Gloria (Rohrer) Frank, and Ramona Rohrer.

Sometime after the birth of their second child, Rosalie was diagnosed with Lupus, a disease that affects your organs, and began to deteriorate. On April 7, 1972, she succumbed to the disease and passed. She was preceeded in death by her father, Paul (Paval), and sister, Elizabeth Jane. She also left behind three grandchildren that she never got to meet, Jason Frank, Deana Rohrer, and Ryan Rohrer.
