Funeral Services to Be Conducted Monday
Stratford - Mrs. Joseph Hoffmann, 67, Marshfield, died at 9:30 p.m. Thursday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merlin Miller, Unity. She had been there for two weeks.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 p.m. Monday in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. N. Schuh will officiate and burial will be made in the parish cemetery.
The body will repose at the Sauter Funeral Home from Saturday noon to the time of services. The Holy Name rosary service is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, the Alter Society service at 3 p.m. Sunday, and the general service at 8 p.m. Sunday.
Mrs. Hoffmann, the former Elizabeth Meyer, was born April 21, 1885, at Slinger. Her marriage to Joseph Hoffmann took place July 7, 1902, at Stratford. After their marriage they lived in the Town of Eau Pleine and, in 1951, they moved to Marshfield.
She is survived by her husband, three sons, Jerome, Marshfield, and Lawrence and Archie, Town of Eau Pleine: six daughters, Mrs. Adam (Anna) Hein, Marshfield, Mrs. Arnold (Mary) Unglaub, South Milwaukee, Mrs. Theodore (Theresa) Ramel, Cudahy, Mrs. Harold (Marcella) Treader, Jefferson, Mrs. Merlin (Lucille) Miller, Unity, and Mrs. Leo (Florence) Lesch, Cudahy: 23 grandchildren: seven great-grandchildren and three brothers, Jacob, Wausau, Peter, Town of Eau Pleine, and Lawrence, Stratford.
Five children, a sister, and a brother preceded her in death.
