Stratford - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St Joseph's Catholic Church in Stratford for Alphonse Hoffmann 40, who died at 8:15 a.m. Wednesday at Marathon County Hospital in Wausau.
The Rev. Anton Fischer will officiate and interment will take place in the parish cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the Central Wisconsin Co-operative Funeral Home in Marshfield beginning Friday, and a general rosary service will be held at 8:30 tomorrow evening at the funeral home.
Alphonse Hoffmann, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Hoffmann, Stratford, route 2, was born in the town of Eau Pleine June 15, 1907.
He is survived by his parents, three brothers, Lawrence and Archie, at home, and Jerome, Marshfield, route 1, and six sisters Mrs. Arnold (Mary) Unglaub, South Milwaukee, Mrs. Adam (Anna)Hein, Stratford, Mrs. Ted (Theresa) Ramel, Cudahy, Mrs. Harold (Marcella) Traeder, Jefferson, Mrs Merlin (Lucille) Miller, Unity, and Miss Florence Hoffman, South Milwaukee.
