VERNON Michael Chicos, 81, of 119 E. Main St., died Sunday at a nursing home.
He was born in Bridgeport and lived here since 1942.
He worked at Amerbelle for 32 years before retiring 10 years ago.
He leaves a daughter, Eleanor Chicos of Vernon; and three brothers, John Chicos and George Chicos of Fairfield and Joseph Chicos of Winsted.
The funeral will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Ladd Funeral Home, 19 Ellington Ave. Burial will be in Crystal Lake Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association, 45 Ash St. East Hartford.
