--Mrs. McKee died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. N. Corbin, in Nevada, August 10; her funeral service was conducted on the 11th, at the house, by Rev. J. W. Henderson, and her remains were laid beside those of her husband in the Nevada cemetery. Rebecca Jane McCall was born at Booneville, Ohio, October 3, 1834, and was the younger half sister of the late T. C. McCall afterwards of Nevada and Montgomery McCall Senior of Runnells. She was married in Polk county, Iowa, January 24, 1858, to Hezekiah McKee, and six children were born to them, two of which died in infancy. The survivors are S. R. and William of Nevada, Milton of Marshalltown and Mrs. W. N. Corbin of Nevada. The McKee home had been in and near Nevada for twenty-three years. Mr. McKee passed to his rest seven weeks ago. Mrs. McKee was a woman of good mind and heart an is kindly remembered by those who knew her. Her suffering from cancer was long and severe and death seemed a sweet release.
