A delightful wedding super was enjoyed by the friends of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Tucker, at the residence of the groom's father, at No. 623 East Seventh street, on last Wednesday evening, when the following guests were present: (parents) Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Tucker, (newlyweds) Mr. and Mrs. G. L. Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. C. A. Baldwin, Mr. and Mrs. J. P. Baldwin, E. J. Baldwin (and 14 others). The party repaired to the spacious dining-room, where a bounteous collation awaited them. The bride and groom are well-known in social circles, having lived here a number of years, and their many friends wish them a happy future.

On Thursday evening a delightful surprise party was tendered Mr. and Mrs. Louen (Lowen) Tucker, at their home on Wesley avenue, University, in honor of Mr. Tucker's twenty-seventh birthday. The host and hostess were taken completely by surprise, but accepted the situation gracefully and welcomed the invaders in the most hospitable manner. The evening was spent in music, recitations and games. Refreshments were served, after which dancing continued until a late hour. Those were present were: (his parents) W. C. Tucker, (brother) Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tucker, Mrs. Harwood, Mrs. Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Louen (Lowen) Tucker, (sister) Miss Anita Tucker, (brother) Estill Tucker and 22 others.
