(Partial Obit from Henry County Democrat): Funeral services for Mrs. Ina Mae Billings Nelson, who died February, 1955 in Evangelical Hospital, Chicago, Ill., after a serious illness of several months, were held at the Urich Baptist Church Friday afternoon, February. 11 at two o'clock with Rev. Wendell Mosser conducting the service. Burial was in Urich Cemetery under the direction of Brown and Graham Funeral Directors. Ina Mae Billings, daughter of Alfred and Lydia Billings, was born Mar 18, 1887 at Mayesburg, MO. She lived in the Urich Community except for a short period in Oklahoma prior to her marriage to Elmer J. Nelson, March 11, 1908 in Urich, Mo. Their home was in Urich until 1932 when the family moved to Chicago, Ill. She was a member of the Urich Baptist Church, later transferring her membership to the first Baptist Church in Harrisonville. Her interest in life was her family and grandchildren. Her hands were never idle, always busy serving and doing hard work to the end. Surviving are her five children.
