Mrs. Brown was born on September 22nd, 1942 in Dekalb County, Tennessee, to the late Tommy and Rosie Ervin Durham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Treva Brown; brother, W.C. Durham; and sisters, Elsie Howard and Janice Summars. She is survived by loving husband of 60 years, Thomas Brown, Jr.; son, Shane (Jennifer) Brown of Gallatin; 5 grandchildren, Drew Brown, Emme Brown, Alex Brazil, Seth Hofmann, and Ethan Hofmann; several loving nieces and nephews also survive.
Carolyn started working at Shafer Corporation in Gallatin and then went on to work for Imperial Manor in Madison. She later pursued a career at Phillips Printing Company in East Nashville.
