Mary K. Althoff, 74, of 1762 Mummasburg Road,
Gettysburg, died Sunday morning, 5th May, at her
home. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Althoff Sr.,
who died in 1975. Born 10th December, 1916, in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late Simon & Emma (Walter)
Riley.She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church.
She is survived by 1 daughter, Mrs. Joyce Krous-
hour, of New Oxford; 6 sons, Edward J. Althoff Jr., of
Gettysburg; Robert Althoff, of Gettysburg; Richard M.
Althoff, of Arendtsville; Kenneth F. Althoff, of Orrtanna;
Donald W. Althoff, of Orrtanna; & Gerald L. Althoff, of
Gettysburg; 5 brothers & sisters, Tearl Sanders, of
Gettysburg; Ruth Grady, of Gettysburg; Helen Hamilton,
of Mt. Holly Springs; Ralph Riley, of York Springs; &
Merle Riley, of Gettysburg; 19 grandchildren. 9 great-
grandchildren; & a number of nieces & nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday. meeting
at the Monahan Funeral Home in Gettysburg at 9:30 am
to go to St. Francis Xavier Church for Mass of Christian
Burial at 10 am. Interment will be in church cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday
from 9 am until time of service.
