Father Geiger professed his faith on August 2,1949 and was ordained on June 20,1954. He was an energetic and enthusiastic servant of Christ. In his four decades of priesthood,Fr.Geiger was pastor at many different parishes in Maryland,Pennsylvania and Ohio. He however had a special place in his heart for ministering to young people and prisioners. Father Geiger was also a faithful devotee to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Father Geiger was also a scale modeler who especially enjoyed building train gardens. He will be remembered as a great speaker, a wonderful and gentle teacher,and a great community man with a warm smile and a jovial sense of humor.
