Carpenter
Oscar Daniel Deibert, 79, of San Bernardino died of respiratory failure Wednesday at St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino.
Deibert, a native of Hoxie, Kan., lived in San Bernardino County 54 years. He was a carpenter for L.P. Sherer Construction for 32 years and was a member of First Christian Church of San Bernardino.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; a son, Dean of San Bernardino; two daughters, Hazel Deitz of Rialto and Donna Bowie of Fontana; two sisters, Anna Riedel of Colby, Kan., Maxine Larsen of Great Bend, Kan.; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. today at Mark B. Shaw Mortuary, 1525 N. Waterman Ave., San Bernardino.
Memorial services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at Mark B. Shaw Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. View Cemetery, 570 E. Highland Ave., San Bernardino.
