This aircraft belonged to Deutsche Lufthansa and was on it's way from Berlin to Norway on 16th October 1944. Due to difficult weather conditions and weak radio signals the plane soon hit the top of a mountain in Seljord, killing the crew and twelve passengers.
Among the passengers were two Norwegians; Miss Millie Holthe (32), a volunteer nurse assigned to Arbeitsdienst, Oslo and Untersturmfürer Kjell Andreas Martinsen (20).
Martinsen was on his way home after he had his leg amputated in Berlin.
