He was a patrolman, and had resided in Globe for 40 years. He had been ill for a year, and died at the Smith Rest Home in Tempe.
He was survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. George E. Hale and Mrs. Dorothy Dobbs of Winslow; two sisters, Mrs. George E. Wallace of Globe, Mrs. Cynthia Adair of Pinetop; two brothers, James Penrod of Lakeside, Dell Penrod of Fort Apache, and a step-daughter, Mrs. W.M. Price of Globe.
