LEWIS, Dorothy Jane Batman, 77, formerly of Tampa, died at home in Durham, N.C., December 31, 2005. Dorothy was born at home September 17, 1928, to Leo J. Batman Sr. and Violet Carothers Batman, and was the sister to LuAnne Batman of St. Petersburg, Leo J. Batman Jr., and wife, Linda Dee, of Sanford, Jon Batman and wife, Linda, of Altamonte Springs, and Jane Batman Peterson and her late husband, Ron, of Orlando. Dorothy was the beloved wife of Edward Lee Lewis of Wauchula; the mother to four children, Kreg Noel Lewis and wife, Sandy, of Land O' Lakes, Traci Lynn Lewis Czyznik and husband, Steve, of New Port Richey, the late Timothy Bryan Lewis and wife, Laura, of Tampa, and Bradley Kevin Lewis and wife, Amy, of Durham, N.C.; and the grandmother of four, Christopher Ryan and Elizabeth Erinn Lewis, and Patrick Alexander and Caitlin Genevieve Lewis. Dorothy was also the lifelong friend and sister-in-law to Frances Lewis of Fort Meade.
