Mrs. Margaret Dixon Watson, 92, of Morganton, a former resident of Boone, died Wednesday morning, April 19, 2006, at Grace Ridge in Morganton.
She was born April 24, 1913, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Osborne Clemmie and Mattie Gold Dixon.
Mrs. Watson attended Appalachian State University and taught elementary school at Mount Pleasant in Wilkes County. She was a member of North Morganton United Methodist Church, a former member of Boone United Methodist Church for 50 years, and a life member of the United Methodist Church Women.
Survivors include a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lionel Watson; one sister, Pearl Murray; and six brothers, Clarence, O.C., Hal, W.F., Tom and Ben Dixon.

Entombment will follow in Mount Lawn Mausoleum.
