Obituary from "Keyport Enterprise," dated Thursday, October 15, 1936, page 8:

"GEORGE H. AROSE, age 26, a resident for the past two years of Perth Amboy and a former Keyport youth, died on Monday morning as a result of injuries received in a fall at his home at 346 Lawrence street. Mystery surrounds the accident in which Mr. Arose was fatally injured when he fell from the second story window of his home. He died at the General Hospital in Perth Amboy from a fractured skull, jaw, and neck and internal injuries.

Mr. Arose is survived by his wife, Diana, three sisters; Mrs. Harry Chasey, of Bridgeton, Mrs. Olive Kilmurray, of Perth Amboy, Mrs. Magnus Pedersen, of Newark and two brothers, Elmer, of this borough, and Walter of Keansburg. He was the son on the late Elijah and Emma Eckman Arose. Interment in Green Grove Cemetery."
