John Raymond Adkins, 50, of Magnolia, AR passed away Thursday, June 13, 2019 in Oakland, CA.
John was born on January 27, 1969 in Olney, IL to the late Prather Mack and Lois Dimple (Gates) Adkins.
John was preceded in death by his parents and sister Beth Adkins Haught. He is survived by his daughter Laurel Elizabeth Adkins and her mother Jennifer Lewis of Magnolia, AR; brother Michael Adkins and wife Regina of Blanchard, LA and their children Philip Adkins, Derrick Adkins, J.W. Strong, and James Strong; sister Ann Adkins of Washington, DC; and brother-in-law Terry Haught of Magnolia, AR and his children Amber Haught and Mandy Thompson and husband Brian.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR with Dr. Eric Goble and Bro. Mike Launius officiating. Visitation with the family will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. A private family interment will be held for his daughter Laurel.
