Serena F. Brady, age 87 of Morristown, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Clayton, Donald, J.B., and David Hollingsworth; sisters, Mary Cruz and Norma Johnson.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William F. Brady; sons, Gary (Janet) Birchfield, Robert (Cathy) Birchfield; daughter, Linda (Max) Shell; 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Densel (Evelyn) Hollingsworth, George (Barbara) Hollingsworth, Jimmy (Kathy) Hollingsworth, Ralph Hollingsworth; brothers-in-law, J.C. (Lorene) Brady, Robert L. (Phyllis) Brady; sister-in-law, Barbara Golden; several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 p.m., Thursday, June 20, 2019 at Alder Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Chris Hazelwood officiating. Interment will be in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
