GEORGIA PAULINE VAUGHN, daughter of Donald Leslie and Estella (Wagner) Crabtree, was born September 7, 1946, in Stoutland, Missouri, and departed this life November 18, 2018, in Springfield, Missouri, at the age of seventy-two years.

As a young girl, in June of 1956, Georgia made a profession of faith in Christ and was baptized. At the time of her passing, she had been a longtime member of Stoutland Christian Church. She appreciated the love and continued prayers from her church family over the years.

After graduating from high school, Georgia attended beauty school. She was also a caregiver, and most recently a waitress. She loved waiting tables and visiting with her customers. Georgia was truly a people person and enjoyed sharing stories and laughter with family and friends.

Georgia was united in marriage with Dave Arble and to this union was born two children, both surviving. On June 15, 1979, she was united in marriage with Jerry Lynn Vaughn. Jerry preceded Georgia in death in May of 2004.

Although Georgiaโ€™s top priority was tending to the needs of her family, she also enjoyed baking for friends and loved her flower gardens. She was selfless and always giving to others. Time spent with her family is what she most treasured, especially her grandchildren, they were her pride and joy.

She leaves to celebrate her memory, one son, Troy Allen Arble of Stoutland, MO; one daughter, Monica Kay Smith, also of Stoutland, MO; three sisters, LaDon Brooks and LaDora Crabtree, both of Stoutland, MO, and Diane Hendrix of Buckhorn, MO; beloved friend, Lois Henson of Stoutland, MO; four grandchildren, Keisha Cantrell and her husband Ronnie, Rachelle Kilgore and her husband Bobby, Clarissa Wisecup, and Dylan Smith and his special friend Molly Kaiser and her son, Abel; ten great-grandchildren, Dakota, Landon, and Gracie Marlowe, Zurich Kilgore, Justin Wisecup, Jr., Gabriel Wisecup, Faithlyn Thomson, Myah, Avery, and Brice Cantrell; her mother-in-law, Florine Vaughn of Lebanon, MO; sister-in-law, Carla Crabtree of Conway, MO; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Georgia was also preceded in death by her parents and one brother, William Crabtree.

Those who knew Georgia will forever cherish the time spent together. We will miss her here, but our loss was certainly Heavenโ€™s gain.
