Elizabeth Coulam, nicknamed "Libby", was born 20 February 1868 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah, to John Coulam, Jr. & Sarah Jane Orton. On 7 September 1876, Elizabeth was baptized by her Uncle George Coulam and confirmed by Joseph William Bean as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Joseph was the father of Sarah Bean (1847-1927) who married her Uncle Henry Coulam, Sr. (1839-1916)

When Elizabeth was 22, she was married to Brigham Henry Davies on 16 July 1890 in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake County, Utah Territory. (See "Utah, County Marriages, 1887-1937") It seems that following this, they went to Logan in Cache County, Utah Territory (later Utah) and were sealed for time and all eternity on the same day in the LDS Logan Temple.

In 1900, Elizabeth & Brigham were living in Salt Lake City and had three children. In 1910, they were still in Salt Lake City but were up to an impressive seven children. In all they had nine children. Two are listed here:
* John Henry Davies (1892-1966) - Uncertain of burial place.

* Elizabeth "Beth/Betty" I. Davies-Pujol (1905-1953) - Cremated
