My paternal 3rd great-grandmother

Lucinda Harding married John Bristow on October 13, 1842 in Hendricks County, Indiana. They had seven children together.

Mrs. Lucinda Bristow, one of the oldest residents of the county, died Sunday afternoon at her home near Scircleville. She was past ninety-two years of age and had been ill with the grippe.
Mrs. Bristow had resided in Clinton County for more than sixty years. She was the widow of John Bristow, who died about fifteen years ago. Since then, she has lived on a small tract of land one-quarter of a mile east of Scircleville.
One daughter, Mrs. William Moore, lives in Frankfort. Another daughter, Mrs. Caroline Moore, resides in Brooklyn N. Y., and a son, Melvin Bristow is in Oklahoma.
The deceased was an ardent member of the Church of God. She was born in Indiana and resided here all her life.
The funeral was to have been conducted Monday afternoon from the late residence, but was postponed on account of the high waters. Interment probably will take place Tuesday morning, in Baker Cemetery.
