Harry Clark Sr.

Harry E. Clark Sr., 81, of Westgate Towers, Apt. 603, 910 W. Second St., died at 11:45 a.m. Aug. 14, 1985, at his home.

He was born Feb. 10, 1904, in Monroe County to James and Clara Phillips Clark. He was a retired meat trimmer at John Morrell and Company. He was a member of the Valley Faith Foursquare Church and a former member of United Packing House Workers of America-CIO Local 1. He married Lottie Grimes on May 15, 1926, in Ottumwa.

He is survived by his wife; three sons, Harry E. Jr. of Ottumwa Route 1, Jerry D. of Hammond, Ind., and Michael of Ottumwa; two daughters, Juanita Reed and Alice Cochell of Ottumwa; 14 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Lenora Collett of Ottumwa.

The service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Garry Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Shaul Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Matt, Harold and Jim Clark, Frank Reed Jr., Arthur Cochell III and Kevin McClure.

Visitation will be after 9 a.m. Friday at the funeral chapel.
