JOHNSON, MR. JACK LEVI, age 93, of Birmingham, died November 1, 1996. He was retired from Southern Railroad after 47 years. He was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church. Funeral services Monday, November 4, 1996, at 10 a.m. at St. Mark's Catholic Church with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 5:30 p.m. till 7:30 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. Survivors are wife of 67 years, Pauline Destafino Johnson; sons, Sam Johnson of Montgomery and Joe Johnson of Birmingham; daughters, Barbara Smith, Connie Johnson Everitt and Mary Ann Johnson, all of Birmingham; 10 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; brothers, James Johnson, John Johnson, Jake Johnson and W. O. Johnson; sisters, Mary Adams and Dill Courtney. Ridout's Elmwood Chapel directing.
