Rites Set for Hazel Hill, 55
Services Monday for Shelby County Woman

Mrs. Hazel A. Hill, 55, Washington Township, died at 10:21 a.m. today at Major Hospital where she had been confined since Tuesday. She had been seriously ill for six months.
Mrs. Hill was born in Shelbyville February 29, 1908, a daughter of Mahlon and Belle (Anderson) Smith. Surviving are the husband, Olen, and the following children, Connie and Olen Wayne Hill at home and Mrs. Judy Price of Geneva. Two children by a former marriage, Mrs. Virginia Knarr and Fred Badgley, both of Greensburg, survive.
Also surviving are three grand-children, six step-grandchildren, two step-children, Mrs. Janet Daughtery of Indianapolis and Henry Hill of Acton; the father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Smith of Shelbyville; three brothers, Lester and Norman Smith of this city and Morris Smith of Anderson, and tow stepbrothers, James Lambert of Friendship, Inc., and Russell Lambert of Stockton, Ill. Mrs. Hill was a member of the First Nazarene Church of this city and had been employed by the Waldron Nursing Home and L.L. Jenner.
Services will be a 2 p.m. Monday at the First Nazarene Church with Rec. C.D. Gadbow officiating. Burial will be in Winchester cemetery. Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary after 2 p.m. Sunday until time for services.
