Mrs. Grace J. Crowell, 60, of Tobacco Township, died Tuesday, May 19, in Midland Hospital, following as illness of two years. The former Miss Grace J. Blades was born in Tobacco Township Oct. 6, 1909, and had been a lifelong resident of the county. She was married to John Crowell Jan. 22, 1928, in Midland.
Survivors are her husband, John; two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Irene) Boyer, and Mrs. Shirley (Pauline) Blades; both of Beaverton; three brothers, Earl and Dewey Blades, of Beaverton, and Percy Parkinson, of Detroit; and one sister, Mrs. D. O. (Ella) Denison of Williamston; and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home with the Rev. A. H. Keesler and the Rev. F. E. Voller officiating and burial will be in Dale Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 05-20/1970 Column - 2 Page - 1
