Funeral services for Rev. Bobby Beshea will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at 11 a.m. at Rose-Neath Funeral Home Chapel in Minden, Louisiana with Rev. Josh Beshea officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Cemetery west of Springhill, Louisiana off Hwy 157. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday, June 3, 2019 at Rose-Neath Funeral Home in Minden, Louisiana.
Bobby was born November 26, 1945 in Sarepta, Louisiana and entered into rest May 31, 2019 in Monroe, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Phil and Maggie Beshea, daughter, Michelle Powell, sister, Vertie Umphries, and brother, Jimmy Beshea.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hay Beshea, sons, Tilman Beshea of Sarepta, Josh Beshea of Minden, Chad Beshea of Farmersville, Texas, and Matt Beshea of Minden, daughter, Tracy Edwards of Magnolia, Arkansas, sisters, Ethel Doty of Memphis, Tennessee and Addie Haas of Boise, Idaho, brother, Troy Beshea of Bossier City, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Chad Beshea, Matt Beshea, Josh Beshea, Tilman Beshea, Freddie Edwards, and Chase Edwards.
