Mrs. Rogers was a native of this county, having been born northeast of Montpelier, a daughter of Jacob and Lucinda Mary (Duffy) Liestenfeltz, pioneer settlers of Blackford county. She resided in this county all her life.
She and Mr. Rogers were united in marriage 47 years ago. Six children survive. They are Ollie, Paul, Oscar and Melvin Rogers, all residing near Montpelier. Mrs. Lorene Needler, of Scott county; Mrs. Goldie Misaran, of Montpelier. The husband, Aaron Rogers, and one half-brother, James Listenfetz, of this city, also survive.
