RANKIN: Funeral service for Mrs. August Ledtke who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Schneider, last Wednesday evening were held from her home Saturday. The funeral was conducted by Rev. W. Braem. Mrs. Luedtke who was born in Germany, May 12, 1855 was 68 years old at
the time of her death. When she was two years old her parent emigrated to America and settled in Cooperstown. Mrs. Luedtke was reared and attended schools at Cooperstown. July 1, 1875 she was married to August
Luedtke and they came to Rio Creek and settled on a farm. Mr. Luedtke died some years ago. From the time of their marriage the couple made their home at Rio Creek. Mr. Luedtke was a resident of the town for 48 years. Mrs. Luedtke is survived by three daughter: Mrs. August Moede,
Mrs. William Schneider, town of Casco and Mrs. Henry Wessel, town of Ahnapee, by four brother and by four sisters and by twenty grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Pallbearers were he six grandsons.
